One thing I will say is that most of the easy work has already been done, and if there's a game that you like that hasn't come out yet, then unfortunately it probably never will. I'm running 2001 as in the video here but unlike in the video my sound is quite choppy, especially when the music plays between holes. I would really appreciate any ideas. I know we're way outta date, but Norkusa, if you want to get some good use out of that trackball, you could always check out Centipede, Crystal Castles, and Cabal Admittedly I've never played a Golden Tee game; I might possibly like it. When you download Mame, make sure the romset number matches your Mame version, as it will save a bit of hassle later! The trackball is from X-Arcade. And that's what makes it all worth it.
I have it running on my windows 7 pc with MameUi64, so I know it can be done. Mine is buggy and that part of the game isn't working making it very hard to play. I use it to keep track of what course my regular guests are on when they come over to play a few rounds. I have read if played in a down-rez version that something as vanilla as an older intel i machine will work, if running fast enough. I guess if there's a slightly more expensive option that will yield improved performance, I would be willing to spend. However, these guy's did a great job and we all have to be thankfull for their work and effort. Obviously Neo Geo had arcade perfect stuff, but I never played those consoles then.
